My first wedding of 2009- Kristin and PJ married at Eastwood Baptist Church in Bowling Green, KY. What a gorgeous day for a wedding! Here are some of the details from the day… {I’m a sucker for the details}. Kristin was one of the Brides that says “just do what you want, I trust you” I love it when I hear that.
I hope you these few scenes from their wedding… By the way, Kristin’s sister made the cake. This is the cake that I bragged so much about on my Facebook. mmm mmm!!!
This was a very sweet moment when Kristin was given a Christmas present -that has been held for many years – specifically for Kristin’s wedding day. If you can read the letter, it is so precious. Everyone knows I have a soft spot for Grandmothers, and this was very touching to everyone in the room. The beautiful old handkerchief was her “something old”…

Old- Grandmother’s Hanky…New- The Dress… Borrowed- the brooch pinned to the crinoline in her dress… Blue- the shoes. Love the shoes!!!

Kristin- she was breathtaking!!!

Pretty Maids all in a row- {yep that is Jonna Kay- one of my favorite Brides ever!} so beautiful. The colors were amazing- I had black bridesmaids dresses in my wedding and if I had it to do over I would still choose black… so elegant and timeless.

the guys…
Kristin and Her Lovely Mom…
Kristin and her Dad… he was beaming with pride.
PJ and his beautiful Mom…
pep talk maybe?
look at his face!!!
this is such a beautiful church!!!

the kiss…

on our way to the reception we stopped by The Bridge and took a few shots… {Chris and I had our engagements taken on this bridge back in 2001, so it is special.}

This was a tricky shot… it doesn’t always work, but it did this time… woo hoo!
Kristin and PJ- Thank you so much for choosing me to document your wedding day, I pray that you have a long happy life together and that you will treasure these moments and relive them over and over as the years go by. God Bless… Julia
